In August we finished testing our major Contacts release with pilot customers and started rolling it out to all Registry Direct customers, with the remaining customers to be migrated in the first week of September. You can learn more about this release here.
In addition, this month we were able to focus on many smaller improvements and bugfixes to existing features.
Offers and applications
- Issuers may now edit the AML/CTF section of the investor verification after the offer has been opened, which previously was locked from editing when the offer was opened.
- Issuers may now request family trust applicants supply evidence of family trust election on a tax return.
- Improved the UI of the offer landing page so that applicants can clearly see the order in which they need to accept the Terms and Conditions and download the offer documents in order to start their application.
- When the percentage payable now on an offer is zero, the communication sent to the applicant when an application is submitted has been updated to reflect that there is no payment instruction attached.
- When an adviser completes an application without an authority to act, and the application is submitted by the investor, the investor will now receive an invoice.
- Fixed a bug where the number of AML/CTF documents required for Australian and foreign individual applicants wasn’t being validated correctly.
- Fixed a bug where for foreign individual applicants, the number of AML/CTF documents required in the application form did not match the number required in the offer setup.
- Fixed a bug that occurred when an investor approved an application sent to them by an adviser, that caused the Terms and Conditions and Application Terms and Conditions fields to be empty.
- Fixed a bug where an issuer read-only user who is also an investor user signs in and commences an application and does not see the option to apply as an existing investor.
- Fixed a bug where an applicant received a server error when trying to review an application submitted by an adviser, which occurred if the adviser was also a logged-in issuer admin user.
- Fixed a bug for trust applications where if an additional AML/CTF document was supplied by the applicant, it was not displayed in the application details in the issuer centre.
- Fixed a bug where for some investors the name and designation was not appearing in the payment instruction and receipt address field.
Tax statements
- An activity log is now created when a user creates or deletes a tax statement.
- Updated Part C to implement the calculation of interest payments to non-resident investors when the payment is exempt from WHT. These are displayed in the field ‘Table 1 - Interest exempt from withholding’.
- Fixed a bug in the View details modal where the amount entered at Part C Table 1 ‘Other assessable Australian income’ was not flowing through to Part C Table 6 ‘Non-resident Withholding Tax’
Holder details
- Fixed a bug in the holder details identification document upload form where the styling had been lost.
- Fixed a bug where the ‘Buy’ button was appearing in the Issuer centre Holder details page Holdings tab, instead of just the Investor centre.
- Fixed a bug in the holder details page which caused an error when clicking the ‘Enter address using the address validator’ link.
Client centre ‘All holdings’ table
- The client centre ‘All holdings’ table can now be exported as a CSV file.
Client centre profile
- Fixed a bug in the Client centre client profile page where if the country was not set in the client contact details, the holding statement preview could not be downloaded.
Pricing plans
- Fixed a bug which occurred when an issuer changed their pricing plan.
Investor verification
- Politically Exposed Person (PEP) and sanctions watchlists screening results which are included as part of an AML/CTF verification of a contact are now automatically displayed in the separate PEP and sanctions watchlists screening section as well.
Investor tags
- Fixed a bug in the Issuer centre ‘All holdings’ table ‘Tags’ column, and the Holder details page Tags section, where the tags for the holder were not being filtered to the current issuer. Only tags for the current issuer are now displayed.
Payments
- Updated the payment component options for Division 6-type trusts to rename AUS_OTHER to Australian Other Income and remove AUS_OTHER_NON_CONCESSIONAL as an option.
- Read-only users can now export payment reports from the Payments list.
Issuer search
- Update the Issuer search to use AND, not OR, so that when multiple words are entered in the search input, the results returned must contain all the words, instead of any of the words.
Investor centre
- In the Update details screen, added direct links to the relevant places to edit details from the Address, Bank account, DRP and Tax number columns.
- Fixed a server error encountered under certain circumstances when a user accessed the payments tab on the account details page.
Transactions
- Issuers can now edit transactions when the security has an ASX code, if the holder has a SRN, not a HIN.
Securities
- The ‘Loan’ security category has been changed to ‘Loan (to investors)’ for clarity.
