In December we released two big upgrades to the online application form – the Expression of Interest state and the data room. Learn more about these features in this video. Issuers can now also select investors by tag to receive payments and communications.
This month we’ve also released many other minor improvements and bugfixes as detailed below.
Offers
- Issuers can now have an Expression of Interest (EOI) state for their offer before the offer has opened. During the EOI state, potential investors can register their interest in the offer and submit their contact details from the offer landing page.
- Issuers can now enable an optional data room on their offer landing page. Registered investors can log in to the data room to access offer documents, additional documents and the application form.
- Issuers can track and manage both EOIs and data room access from a new marketing list on the offer details page.
Payments
- When selecting investors to be included in a payment, you can now select them by tag.
- The Payment summary report pdf has been reformatted to fit on one page when the payment has only one payment component and one payment type.
Communications
- When selecting investors to be included in a communication, you can now select them by tag.
- Fixed a bug in the Client centre communications table where sorting by the ‘First sent/actioned’ column caused a server error.
- Fixed a bug in the Issuer centre Holder details ‘Communications’ tab and the Investor centre Messages page where some communications did not display a date in the ‘Sent date’ column.
Applications
- If an AML/CTF document for Super fund type applicants has not been checked as required in the offer setup, applicants can now optionally upload one.
- For applicants logging in to resume a draft application, an option has been provided to send a one-time password via email if the SMS option fails.
- When an offer includes an application fee + GST, the payment instruction sent to investors has been renamed to Tax invoice.
- Improved user experience when clicking the Submit button.
- Fixed a bug in the application form where incorrect tax type options were available when applying as a trust/superfund type investor.
- In the application transcript ‘Beneficial owners’ section, for the ‘Other role/s:’ label, only other roles entered by the applicant are now displayed.
- Fixed a bug in the application transcript ‘Application payment instruction’ which was displaying all the payment method options instead of just the one selected by the applicant.
- Fixed a bug when viewing the activity log for an edited application, where clicking the ‘View application data’ link caused a blank screen.
- Fixed a bug where foreign investors needing to provide two forms of ID could not proceed to the next step unless the documents were uploaded in a certain order.
Client centre
- A summary table has been added to the Client centre All issuers page, showing consolidated totals for all issuers for various stats.
Security
- We now enforce increased password complexity of at least one upper case character, one lower case character, one number and one special character.
All holdings table
- An ‘Advisor access’ column has been added to the Client centre All holdings table, displaying the advisor email address.
- In the All holdings table export ‘Advisor access’ column, the word “(registered)” next to the advisor’s email address has been removed to make it easier to copy email addresses from this column.
Contact details
- When adding associated contacts to a trust contact, validation has been relaxed so that beneficial owners of the trust need not be added.
- Size validation has been added to the ‘Identity and other documents’ section to prevent attempting to upload documents over 25MB.
Capital calls
- The payment due date has been added to the invoice email and payment reminder email.
- You can now continue to manage an investor capital call after marking the invoice as ‘Abandoned’.
- Fixed a bug where a partially paid capital call was displaying as fully paid in the Capital call details Investors list.
Issuer profile options
- Issuers now have an option in the Issuer profile page to suspend investor access for an issuer. When selected, securities belonging to that issuer will not be shown in the investor centre.
Merging contacts
- When merging contacts, verification status notes made by the issuer are now moved to their own row instead of bundled with the status, so that the user can select which notes to retain.
Transactions
- In the transaction wizard, the ability to enter a price per security, instead of just a total amount, has been reinstated. The price entered does not influence the transaction calculations but appears in the holding statement.
Holder details
- On the Holder details ‘Payment details’ tab, an Accrual payment now shows the status of ‘Accrued’, rather than ‘Paid’, after it has been processed.
Workflow approval
- Fixed a bug where it was possible to get a 404 error when clicking a bank details workflow approval link for a holder with holdings in multiple issuers.
Holding/Periodic Statements
- Fixed a bug occurring when creating statements for multiple securities including accrual/cash type securities and displaying fees and costs on the statements, that validation would incorrectly require a management fee rate on the accrual securities before the statements could be produced.
