In January we released many smaller improvements, including the ability to convert offer applicants to a different investor type, easier updating of bank details across multiple holdings, and the ability for issuers to exclude a security from total calculations in the investor centre.

We also ironed out a few bugs. Read on for the full list.

Applications

  • Issuers can now convert the investor type of applicants using the latest version of the offer feature. From the application details page, on the Holder tab, click ‘Edit investor type’ in the Contacts section.
  • When an application is edited, the payment ID will now remain the same as the original application in the payment instruction pdf and filename.
  • Copy in the payment instructions has been updated to clearly distinguish between the BPAY CRN reference number and the EFT reference number.
  • Fixed a server error which occurred if an applicant submitted empty tax fields after selecting the ‘Is the investor a resident of other countries for tax purposes?’ option.
  • Fixed a bug in the application details Contacts table which caused the ‘Fetched from ASIC’ tags to display the wrong date.
  • Fixed a bug which caused all payment methods to be displayed in the application details and application activity log, instead of just the payment method selected by the applicant.

Payments

  • A Cancelled option has been added to the status dropdown in the calculated payment amounts to investors by payment method tables. Payments marked as Cancelled will not be included in holding statements, tax statements or ATO reports.
  • The payment description has been added to the Payment summary PDF report.
  • When payment files are created from redemption transactions in the Security transactions table, the option to exclude the payment from tax statements and tax office reporting now defaults to Yes.
  • On the Payment statement, copy regarding when the payment will be processed has been changed to handle payment processing in the past or future.
  • Fixed a bug in the Payment summary PDF report which caused the legal name of the investor to be displayed in the Designation column along with the designation.
  • Fixed a bug in the Direct credit payment method table that caused a blank screen when clicking a holder’s name, instead of going to the holder details page.
  • Fixed a bug in the Payments table which caused the Pending column to not be sortable.

Client centre All issuers page

  • In the Client summary table, when more than one currency exists amongst all issuers in the table, a row has been added for each currency showing the total market capitalisation for that currency.
  • A new column has been added to the Client summary table called ‘Workflow approvals’, showing the number of workflow approvals awaiting approval.
  • The formatting of columns and numbers in the tables has been improved.
  • Fixed a bug which caused a server error when loading the client centre All issuers page.

Issuer profile

  • Read-only issuer users can now view a read-only version of the Issuer profile page.
  • When the Investment body type selected is Partnership, a sub type is no longer required.

Investor bank accounts

  • Foreign currency Australian bank accounts, which have alphanumeric bank account numbers, are now allowed for issuers which are set as non-AUD denominated in the Issuer profile. Alphanumeric bank account numbers can also be entered in the application form for offers by these issuers.
  • When bank details are changed on a holding, a modal is displayed allowing issuer and investor users to propagate the change to other holdings on the holder. Previously, if the first holding did not require a bank statement but other holdings did, the other holdings could not be updated via the modal. We now allow a bank statement to be uploaded via the modal so all holdings can be updated at once.
  • In the Issuer profile, there are now separate options for issuer users and investor users to require a bank statement when bank details are changed.

Investor user MFA

  • When investor users update their password, they now have the option to receive the authentication code to their alternative email address instead of their mobile number, in case they are unable to receive the code via SMS.

Investor centre

  • Issuers now have the ability to exclude a security from total value calculations in the Investor centre, by selecting the ‘Exclude from investor centre portfolio valuation’ option while creating or editing the security.

Contacts

  • Corrected some copy in the ‘Possible duplicate existing contact’ feature.
  • Fixed a bug which caused updates to the address of the holder via a contact to not be propagated to all holdings belonging to the holder.
  • Fixed a bug in the contact merge feature which caused links to documents in the contact compare view to not work.

Communications

  • Fixed a bug where, when multiple holdings have the same primary user and read only user, the read only user would receive multiple copies of the same email.

Investor verification

  • Fixed a bug encountered while viewing GreenID results caused by Indonesian addresses being incorrectly parsed.
