Update the multi-factor authentication device associated with your user account

To update your Multi-factor authentication device:

  • Click on your Name (located in the top right-hand corner).
  • From the dropdown menu, select User settings.
  • In the Security section of Your account settings and preferences page, click Multi-factor authentication device
  • Select how you wish to verify this request
    • If you choose to Use authenticator app 
      • Enter the 6-figure verification code supplied by the app on your old device and click Confirm.
      • If you have an existing authenticator app on your new mobile device, use it to scan the QR code, or manually enter the key.
      • Enter the 6-figure verification code supplied by the app on your device
    • If you choose to Send code to alternative email address 
      • Click Send Code
      • Enter the 6-figure verification code that was supplied in the email and click Confirm
      • Click Finish multi -factor authentication set-up
      • If you have an existing authenticator app on your new mobile device, use it to scan the QR code, or manually enter the key.
      • Enter the 6-figure verification code supplied by the app on your device.
