This month introduces custom email domains, allowing you to send emails from your own email address. We’ve also enhanced the Xero integration so users now have full control over how manual transactions post to Xero.
Additionally, we’ve sharpened how compliance works, tightened reporting across the platform, and given issuers more control over how their communications look and feel.
Custom email domains
- Issuers and client centre users can now send all Registry Direct communications, from investor updates to system emails, from their own domain instead of noreply@registrydirect.com.au. Set it up from a new menu item in either centre, verify ownership through your DNS provider, and every email that follows carries your address.
Xero integration
- Manual transaction forms now give users with Xero integration active full control over how each transaction posts. Raise an invoice or bill, redirect the debit or credit account, split a redemption between paid capital and a redemptions reserve, or skip the posting altogether.
- The pending transactions table now shows a Xero column when sync is enabled, with a link to the invoice, its payment status, and the ability to filter by that status.
Offers and applications
- For Company applicants, the Beneficial Owners step now initialises with an empty owner record, preventing validation errors silently blocking the Next button.
- Existing holders applying for a top-up now have their bank details pulled from the holding being topped up, not from the holder’s first listed holding.
- In the application list view, applications of $500,000 or more now carry a wholesale indicator next to the amount applied for, with a tooltip explaining that they automatically qualify as a wholesale client/sophisticated investor.
- Issuers can now add custom text to the application-submitted email, the same way they already can for successful applicant emails.
- The application form for Trusts now has separate categories for Self-Managed Super Funds and APRA-regulated superannuation funds, since SMSFs do not qualify for simplified verification.
- When simplified verification is active on an offer, for trust applicants with corporate trustees, the application form no longer asks the trustee or trust custodian the same qualification questions twice.
Compliance and AML/CTF
- PEP screening now runs on any individual with a name and date of birth. Screening is no longer limited to Australian and New Zealand addresses.
- The bulk PEP screen report has been rebuilt: clearer status columns, a billing issuer column, filtering by change, and a CSV export that matches your other AML/CTF reports. Contact detail statuses now read "On PEP/Sanctions list" and "Not on PEP/Sanctions list," replacing the ambiguous "Failed."
- Contact ID now appears across AML/CTF exports, including the full report generator.
- The Holdings table and CSV export in both the Issuer Centre and the Client Centre now show a wholesale status expiry date, calculated from your holders' accountant certificates.
Reporting and exports
- Contact exports now carry a tags column.
- The All Holdings export in the Client Centre now includes an associated contacts column, listing every linked contact ID.)
- Contact exports gain two new actions, tax details and document data, covering everything from TFN and foreign tax residency to document verification and licence details.
- The capitalisation table now hides price, quantity and balance for committed amount securities, displaying only unpaid and paid values.
- A display error in the distribution schedule's unmarketable parcel information has been corrected.
- The transaction import details table now shows a Security column, and the downloaded import sheet labels the investor reference column "SRN/HIN" instead of "External ref."
- The Top Investors report now shows the holder phone number, instead of leaving the field blank.
Payments and everyday fixes
- Payments that should transition from Scheduled to Complete but stalled due to a timing issue in the underlying logic have been fixed.
- The BGL integration's nightly reconciliation email no longer links to tabs a user cannot see. It now only shows the security class, holder and transaction links a client has actually opted in to sync.
- Mobile number validation has been updated so newer valid Australian mobile numbers are no longer rejected at sign-up.
- The custom certificate title field on the Edit security page now accepts spaces, and the form no longer saves while a validation error is present.
- The Users page now links each user's email address straight to their user details page, removing the need to search for them separately.
