Issuer users can define a list of tags and investors can be categorised by these tags. Tags are specific and unique to each issuer. Investors with holdings in multiple issuers can have up to 5 tags per issuer. 

By assigning tags to investors you can group them by a similar attribute.

Before assigning a tag to an investor you need to create a tag.

To create a tag:

  1. Select the issuer that you want to add tags on
  2. From the menu, go to Investors and click Investor tags.
  3. Click + Add new tag.
  4. Enter the name of the tag.
  5. Click Save.

Once you have a tag created, you can assign the tag to your investor/s. 

To assign a tag to an investor, find the investor either from the search feature, cap table or investor list, and click on their name to access the Investor details page.

  1. Select the issuer that you want to add tags on
  2. Click on the Investor details tab.
  3. Scroll down to Tags.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. Click inside the Tags field to reveal the list of available tags.
  6. Select the tag you wish to assign to the investor.
  7. Click Save.

To remove a tag from an investor, find the investor either from the search feature, cap table or investor list, and click on their name to access the Investor details page.

  1. Select the issuer that you want to remove tags on
  2. Click on the Investor details tab.
  3. Scroll down to Tags.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. Click the x symbol next to the name of the tag you wish to remove.
  6. Click Save.

To view tags on multiple investors at once

  1.  Select the issuer that you want to view tags on
  2. Navigate to the Investors / All Holdings table
  3. Add the tags column by clicking on the column drop down and checking the tags column 
  4. Filter or sort the tags column
