Once you have paid your investors, you can send them payment statements from the Payment statements section.
Statements will be available for you to send depending on the status of the different payment categories:
- Direct credit only
- Statements will be available to send once you have marked the ABA as accepted by the bank.
- DRP only
- Statements will be available to send from payment date.
- Partial direct credit / Partial DRP
- Statements will be available to send from payment date and once you have marked the ABA as accepted by the bank.
- Cheque only
- Statements will be available to send from record date.
- Partial cheque / Partial DRP
- Statements will be available to send from record date.
Sending statements
To send statements:
- On the Payment details page, go to the Payment statements section.
- Under the Statement actions tab, you will see a category for each payment type with the number of statements that are ready to be sent.
- You can review the statements before sending them by clicking on the number in the No. of statements column, alternatively click on the Unsent statement communications tab to view all of the statements that are ready to be sent across all payment categories.
- Find the payment category you want to send statements for.
- Depending on the category the following actions will be required to send the statements:
- Direct credit only, DRP only and Partial direct credit / Partial DRP
- If your Payment notifications outbound email preferences are set to Require approval then click Create statement communications in outbox
- For investors that have an email address on record, an email communication with their payment statement will be created in the outbox for you to approve and send.
- For investors that do not have an email address on record, you will also be able to download their statement from the communications outbox for you to post to them.
- If your Payment notifications outbound email preferences are set to Send automatically then click Create and send statement communications
- For investors that have an email address on record, an email with their payment statement will be emailed to them.
- For investors that do not have an email address on record, you will also be able to download their statement from the communications outbox so you can post it to them.
- If your Payment notifications outbound email preferences are set to Require approval then click Create statement communications in outbox
- Cheque only and Partial cheque / Partial DRP
- Click Create statement communications in outbox
- A statement will be available in the communications outbox for you to download and post to them.
- Click Create statement communications in outbox
- Direct credit only, DRP only and Partial direct credit / Partial DRP
Statements log
To view which statements have been sent:
- On the Payment details page, go to the Payment statements section.
- Under the Statement actions log, you will see a list with the actioned statement communications.
