The Tax status for an investment can be either:

  • Sufficiently quoted
    • This means that there are enough valid TFNs, ABNs and/or exemption codes recorded against the investment. When an investment's tax information is sufficiently quoted different withholding tax rules apply under certain circumstances. Please consult the ATO for more details on these rules. Or;
  • Not sufficiently quoted
    • This means that there are not enough valid TFNs, ABNs and/or exemption codes recorded against the investment. This status may also be a result of the investor not being an Australia resident for tax purposes. To change the tax status an investment from not sufficiently quoted to sufficiently quoted, add additional TFNs, ABNs or exemption codes and/or change the country of tax residency via the link on the Tax details panel.
