Update the address and tax details of your holdings

The Investor Centre allows you to have different address and tax details for each individual or entity associated with an investment account.

The contact address used for the account is the address of the primary investor. 

Please note: if your holding is broker sponsored, you will need to contact your broker to update your address details.

To update the address or tax details of an account

  1. Click Update details in the top of the menu to the left.
  2. Click on the pencil icon on the account you wish to update. This will take you to the Account details tab on the Account page. Each individual or entity associated with the account is listed. Associates may be nested in the list to show their relationship to other associates, eg. a trustee will be nested under a trust.
    • To expand an associate to view nested associates, click the plus icon next to the associate.
  3. Click Edit identification and tax details next to the associate you wish to update.
  4. Update the address or tax details.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Confirm your updates by entering a verification code which will be sent to your registered mobile phone number via SMS. Alternatively, you can send a verification code to your alternate email address (in the event that you do not have access to your phone or cannot receive an SMS to it).

To update the tax country for payments of an account

  1. Click Update details in the top of the menu to the left.
  2. For the account you wish to update, click on any link in the Tax number/s column. This will take you to the Tax details tab on the Account page. 
  3. Next to Tax country for payments, click Edit.
  4. Select the country from the dropdown.
  5. Click Save.
